Use Data Science to Auto Profile Customers

Equipment and Parts & Service Profiling for customers is currently a manual requirement of the rep. This has not been well maintained and although business rules are in place, it is open to rep interpretation. An alternative is to develop an automated process around a couple of parameters.

Thank you, Mark. Automated customer profiling has been delivered into the product and is available in the Customer Segmentation view in SalesLink.

David, This has actually been delivered although we would like to discuss possible enhancements if possible. Suggest we close this idea as delivered. Thanks

Given the age of this idea and recent developments in analytics & AI capabilities, I'm curious about examples of how you are addressing it today.

This has been discussed for several years now & is long overdue. The promise of introducing more date science into the SalesLink products is yet to be delivered in my opinion. The automation of customer profiles is a very basic yet effective use of customer information & would allow dealers to remove the requirement of their Reps to manually review, make assumptions & update the system (which we all know doesn't happen)

Let's hope 2021 is the Year for DATA SCIENCE!

Also, for dealers using the UCC moduel, suggest driving profile logic off of that data i.e. mix of Cat to Non-Cat, Customer Size, etc.

This should be combined with SLSLNK-I-32 which has 2 votes also. Same suggestion.
