Changing Start/End Times

Can we change the behavior of a ticket when start or end times are being changed by dragging the edge of a ticket out? Currently when dragging the end date out a ticket will be broken into pieces and when changing the start date the ticket will remain as one large tile. What I am asking for is to change the behavior of dragging out an end date to keep it as one large tile, much like it does now with a change to a start date. Please see attached video for an example of how this behaves in Production.
