Hi Erica,
We're wondering how you are segmenting your BCP and GCI? Are you classifying by customer, industry group or machine? We're not sure how you're identifying a BCP vs GCI vs Other type lead? You mention pivot tables and other ways you're divvying up the data, can you provide some info as to what you're using internally to filter by?
Response from Erica:
Yes, this is actually one level up from the model & type of machine. So example, 259D3 is a model of a compact track loader. Which today, you can sort and select in the lead funnel. However, a 259D3 Compact Track Loader is part of the CCE product group. Cat is asking for us to report out at the product group level.
The only way to report on these metrics today is to export and do a ton of sorting and pivot tables. We ask if they add a level of filtering to quickly report back to Caterpillar.
Hi Erica,
Most dealerships set up their divisions to do this, I’m assuming you don’t? Do you know how we can differentiate between BCP and GCI, is it just by base model, or is there an actual indicator somewhere?
Copying Erica's Use Case:
This has to be with us wanting filters on our lead funnel. The filters would need to be “BCP & GCI”
All dealers in North America are being asked to report our BCP & GCI lead funnels separately to Cat for the Marketing & Sales Excellence Program. Providing them this information quickly every month is very time-consuming without this button. That is the best use case as all dealers will report these metrics.
Hi Erica, I don't see anything below, is there an attachment missing?
Hello Court,
I reached out to the business users for an user case. Please see their response below.
Hi Erica,
We're looking for a use case for this idea: can you tell us what you're hoping to do with the product family filter? What need is driving this request?
Thanks,
