The current Customer Coverage Report simply total's activities over the last 12 months & compares against the assigned PAR to determine if coverage is on PAR or not.
The issue with this is multiple activities within a short period (i.e. buying cycle) are all counted against a PAR & may show as 100% coverage even if no activities for the rest of the year.
We suggest A better formula is to divide the last 12 months by the assigned PAR & any activities within each time block be counted as one rather than summed.
We would also like to be able to filter the report by periods (last 2, 3, 4, 6 months etc.) to identify customers without activities during the last period.
It would also be helpful if you could look forward, with outstanding activities planned, to gauge if you hit those activities you meet your planned coverage.
The team has reviewed this, and there seems to be an overarching theme of re-visiting how it is that PAR reporting is done within SalesLink. We will review this further as our analytics initiative develops.
Adding this as a filter option would be great. It would take activities to address problem or singular purchasing cycle that had lots of activities, but are not really a part of the PAR coverage would be great.
I'd like to be able to toggle/turn on/filter by both views, because of seasonality some legit PAR may be all bunched together.
I like this idea Measuring coverage based on the cadence for the reporting period is more accurate than a cumulative number.
