When creating a quote in iQuote, currently "Follow Up Activity" is defaulted to no. We would like this to default to yes to encourage reps to create a follow up activity.

Yes! When putting in submitted status, the activity option really is set up for creating a closed activity on 'submitted quote'. If you change the date it does create an open activity, but it looks like that is when you want to submit, and you don't really have context from time submitted to the time to follow up.
There is also the Estimate Customer Reply field, where does that go? Could it be used to create the outstanding activity for following up with the customer?
We also have tried to look at the Estimated Delivery Month, with Low, Medium, High as a follow up indicator- as well as a forecasting tool - but there is no context for when it was last updated, so it doesn't help as much for forecasting; what hasn't been updated specifically regarding delivery month, and/or which quotes need follow up.
It would be helpful to have that power in iQuote and Saleslink, not just going back into Saleslink and creating a follow up activity off the opportunity.
