There are many rules driving more accurate information on our documents...CQI, Revenue Recognition rules & the new Cat Financial rules requiring a street address. To this end, Agmt. Editor in iQuote needs some remapping to allow access to the multiple addresses in Sales Link.
Our issue is the Sold To, Ship To and Bill To in agreement editor is mapped to the Billing Address in DBS which is frequently a PO Box. The Location Address for the same account is generally a street address (see attached). The way it’s set up now, the rep would have to manually look up the Location address and key it in. I was thinking of a way to allow more flexibility when changing any of the 3 addresses to be able to pick the Billing OR Location OR…hell, maybe even a Jobsite address for Ship To.
Agreed! This would help get things right from the start, with out creating redundant work.
This topic has been raised in recent discussions at Holt Ca. I believe it would be highly valuable to incorporate a feature that enables job site lookup for quoted customers, which can be seamlessly imported into the Ship To, Sold to or Bill To sections. It seems redundant to manually search for the job site address in DBS or SalesLink and then input it into iQuote, considering that the necessary data already exists in CloudLink and can be readily accessed.
With the switch from Finance Express to Capital Stream, finance deals now require 3 addresses, Ship To, Bill To and Installed At Address. This initiative needs to move forward quickly if at all possible.
