The owner of an account to receive alerts when opportunities are created for Service on that account

The owner of an account may not always know what other departments and Branches are arranging with their customers' fleet and so as new opportunities are created by service departments the Owner of the account (PSSR or ISR) would receive an alert/email to notify of the new opportunity.

    Hi David, great idea, but the opportunities the ISR is trying to capture relate to our service department who mainly use PSQ to create the quotes and therefore don't have the time to then go over to SalesLink to click "send the email" for a particular range of accounts (which they would not know who was listed under the ISR).

    Hi Darren, why not have the person who created the opportunity assign it to the PSSR or ISR? There already exists email notification functionality that will email the owner of an opportunity when a lead is assigned to them.
