Our sales mgrs and reps spend a good deal of time managing the opportunity pipeline view. That being said, there are some basic improvements that could be made that would improve the UX of the tool and enhance the value. We spend too much time clicking and filtering when this same work can be done editing the view below with much fewer clicks. You can currently edit the est mo./yr. and save. We propose being able to edit multiple columns in the view, saving time. We suggest you make it so you can edit/save "Description" & "Stage". We also would like to add the "High, Medium, Low" field in an editable column as well as possibly Equip. Type. (N/U). Big time savings. There are several columns we would recommend removing to save space. Would need to check with other dealers.
Further to this the Est close date is difficult to identify as either the delivery date or est close date. if this could be identified in this area and also available to toggle between the 2 fields so the reps can ensure their pipeline is current.
Related to this item we would also like the Prob of Closing to be a field when you export the opportunity list to Excel.
I constantly have our folks ask me why this hasn't been done yet. Seems like it is a good idea for all dealers that actively manage their "ever changing" sales pipeline. This would make it soooooo much easier to use. I could use some votes, people.
In the SalesLink Exec Opportunities by Create Date and Opportunities within Rep view, create a filter that can be "set as default" so we can choose how to get the initial view
