Hi David & idea supporters, Looks like there is a couple of report enhancement suggestions going on here. Just with regards to the PAR % report; Cat are measuring dealers on quarterly coverage of customers with a PAR of 4 or greater so, having a couple of extra filters in this report for 1. Quarter (Q1,Q2,Q3,Q4) and 2. filter to select one or multiple PAR value/s would be great.
Regarding the Customer Coverage Report as well as changing the PAR calculation I would like to see the same 2 additional filters added to this report Plus, Merge the Division results into one single amalgamated line per Customer to show a holistic view of the customers Coverage, Opportunity & sales results. This would/should also catch & factor in any activities completed in different Div against the Reps assigned PAR
In SalesLink Executive, Perhaps where multiple Reps are selected, show a merged customer line for each rep for all divisions selected. This would allow managers to identify holistic Customer Coverage. Thanks again, Mark C.
Yes, a single row of data is what I had in mind - however a % completed within each customer row, as suggested, could also be useful.
But the bigger priority/need is for the Reps to be able to simply see the total PAR % completed number, as this is what we (and a lot of other dealers I suspect) measure our PSSR’s on and currently the PSSR's have to rely on their manager to tell them what that total % complete number is from SL Executive rather than the Rep being able to view/monitor it for themselves.
If the total % complete can be incorporated into the customer coverage report then that would be acceptable as long as it’s in a place where it can be quickly referenced and not buried at the bottom/end of the data table.
First preference for me, however, would be to simply have it as its own report/view like it is in SalesLink Executive. We know this would just show as one row in the table (as there is just one rep), but this is all the rep needs to see and additionally the rep can then filter the data for things like Customer Type, Activity Group Type as well as selected time periods if they want to.
A click through from their name or the number linking to the Customer Coverage page as a short cut would be handy. i.e. I’m a rep looking at my PAR % number, I see its below target, so I click on the number and it opens up Customer Coverage so I can then identify specific customers/prospects that are below PAR to target for activities.
Not sure if replying to this system generated email will reach you, so Ive copied in Andreas and Pete.
Re the response to this suggestion in the ideas portal, what we are looking for is as per the snip below not the customer coverage report snipped in your reply. It is the percentage completed report that we would like available in the SalesRep application, so a Rep can quickly see how they are tracking against PAR as a percentage total..noting, of course, they would only be able to see their names and not the entire sales team
Ah, I see. This was being discussed as a mobile enhancement, not as part of the web app. I will get it in the right bucket, thanks for the clarification!
This is not related to "being out of the office" We would like the PAR % Report available under Saleslink Sales Rep like the report available in Saleslink Executive. See attached
Hey Court, I agree with Lori, We are telling our Reps how they are performing on customer coverage & setting % targets for them however, they have no visibility to their own performance in SalesLink Rep. Ideally they only need visibility to their own information. It might also be useful to display coverage totals & % result in the Customer Coverage header area. This may become even more relevant as we improve the Customer Coverage Report.

Thank you, Stu. We'll taket his into consideration when designing this.

If it would only be themselves then it would only show a single row for any sales rep. Is that what you had in mind?
Or maybe a modification to the Customer Coverage report where the Annual Variance shows it in percentage as well like this? Maybe with a total row?

This is currently available in SalesLink - Sales Rep through the Customers menu if you open the "Customer Coverage" report.
Here is what it looks like:

Hi Lori,
Can you provide a use case for this? Is there a reason you want to see the PAR percentage report while out of the office?
