We have CAT & AGCO leads being auto-generated into our SalesLink. Unfortunately we get duplicates due to lead follow ups, CAT finance, etc. Currently we are just deleting the 'duplicate' lead. We would prefer to have the option to merge the leads together. Have the 1st lead be the primary lead and then allow us to merge any duplicates or follow ups to the original.

Here is the current thinking:
When merging, you’ll choose which lead should be the recipient. This is the record you want to keep. The donor lead’s details will be copied into the recipient, and the donor lead will be marked as “no lead” or “no deal”, depending on its current stage. We’ll also automatically add a note to the donor lead with the reason set to “duplicate” and a comment that provides the recipient's opportunity number.

Agreed. We need the ability to group/merge multiple opportunities together into 1 when necessary.
Also having the ability to merge duplicate leads & opportunities would help. Due to the overnight run of DBS a lot of leads aren't assigned to the rep until the next day, but the customer wants a quote right away so they end up creating another opportunity
