This mostly impacts our Power Systems group. When working on opportunities and bids, we typically have multiple bidders who are covered by different sales reps. It would be great if we could assign all of the reps whose customers are involved to the same opportunity to give them better visibility and awareness of what is happening with the deal, and would help reduce the number of duplicate opportunities to track in the system.
Although the idea of notifying another rep could be valuable, the opportunity assignment should always remain with one rep.
