Retain Quote Editor and Agreement Editor Component changes when we change the Configuration of a quote

We are encountering a poor user experience in iQuote when changes are needed to the Configuration of an existing quote. These changes can often be very minor eg adding an additional standard job.

The rep has already invested time in the Components section of the Quote Editor (also applicable to the Agreement Editor) where, for example, they may have chosen lines to be hidden from the Quote document and made improvements to the text descriptions to make them clearer for the customer to understand.

Any change to the quote’s Configuration causes iQuote to discard all the rep’s changes in the Quote Editor (and Agreement Editor) Components section causing unnecessary re-work, frustration, an overall negative experience with the product and potential for mistakes to be made as the same changes are re-made every time.

We believe that the rep’s changes should be retained in the Quote Editor (and Agreement Editor) and re-applied to the corresponding Components whenever a change is made to the Configuration of a quote.
