Problem

Components often have their prices or references numbers updated in the ERP. As a result, packages built in iQuote become outdated. The current solution is to re-select the package from the Edit Source page which results in confusing behavior around Extras.

Solution

• There is now a new button that appears in the package editor page

• The button is positioned in the Package Details header section

• The button is labeled Update components

• Clicking on the button will update all values the following areas for the specified source from the ERP:

  • Consist

  • Components

  • Other Components
