We are constantly receiving requests from sales reps on work tool availability, which causes our inventory team to access Caterpillar's Parts Viz system multiple times per day to search the part numbers there. It would be ideal to have an API to iQuote (and/or Equipment Link) so reps can access this information in those systems themselves since they are in iQuote all day long.

Great Idea, I do think Tony's comment from the collaboration portal needs to be taken into account though. " It is somewhat challenging though as it would require 3 different systems to check availability. Partsviz for BCP work tools, dwing for GCI work tools and then DBS for normal parts. Our reps struggle to manage these three systems so any help here would be great."
