We have departments that need to be notified when a rep WINS a quote (CSA, Tech Services). These groups don't have any responsibility in COTI so building them into our workflow would just cause "noise". If it could notify individuals of something being present on a WON quote, it would help trigger their process which really lies outside of the sales applications. A possible tie into Service Scheduler or Service Link to create a WO or task for the service branch as their process usually involves a work order.
Kari, I never got this message. Is there some documentation that you could share regarding this functionality? I will start to dig into what I can find in the mean time.
Hey Kelly - just reviewing this request. There is an option in SalesLink Admin if the quote is tied to an opportunity to send an email when an Opp is won. Will this serve your purpose?
