In 2019, Caterpillar shifted from Customer Service Agreements (CSAs) to Customer Value Agreements (CVAs). This emphasizes the expanded value for customers and adds new, meaningful customer touch points across an asset’s entire lifetime — from new equipment point of sale to resale.
This change is to keep in line with this change to CAT terminology in Texada products.
This will be available as part of the 2024.0815 release. Be sure to read the release notes for more details. Thank you for your patience on this.
I think all dealerships want to see this change and to comply with Cat marketing and documentation of CVA.
This change would be extremely helpful. We are currently having to override this in the Word quote document, but won't be able to much longer as we are converting to DocuSign soon.
I'm not so sure that this should be a global change to iQuote (rather by division), as we have our Agriculture and Lift Truck division utilizing iQuote as well.
I back this initiative as we need to keep up with major changes to verbiage like this. I can understand why there wouldn't be changes with everything pushed through by CAT, but this is an imbedded change to all our documentation etc.
I agree as well.
I still would like to see this change be made. Caterpillar does not want us to use CSA as verbiage any longer. Anything you can do to help us stay in compliance would be appreciated.
CVA is a Caterpillar change that is affected by all dealerships. I think this is imperative to have the correction made in iQuote.
2nd this motion.
Agree, I think it would be great to have this as an option.
