This idea is in response to the request by our rep, Kari Cannaday, for ideas for programming in common between iRents and iQuote. We have been working with IRS to put RPO conversion programming in our iRents software. The suggestion came up during these conversations to allow for a sales rep (at the time of quoting a customer an RPO) to run scenarios for RPOs. For instance, if a customer wants to RPO a piece of equipment for a specific term at a monthly rental rate, we would like functionality to determine the payoff based on the current interest rates that apply. The functionality would allow for tiered interest rates and a specific payoff date and be able to calculate a payoff amount with that information.
