We would like to see an enhancement to iQuote, or a configuration added that allows you to pull in attachments from inventory, or Cat Price List and give the user the ability to add a sales price that will show on the quote so they can be itemized. Currently, you can only bring in cost, plus a mark up and you have to adjust the gross profit % to get the sell price to an even number. Many times our reps have to manually type in the attachment price and then modify the machine price to make the math work. Also, our attachment cost is mapped to book value, so it the attachment is fully depreciated out, it has 0 cost and therefor no sell price. Our accounting group requires a sell price for all invoicing IDs, so we have to create it on the back end of the deal which is not a good process.
