We would like the ability to convert a budgetary type quote to an opportunity rather than having to basically create a duplicate quote in the case that a customer would like to move forward with a budgetary deal.
This would be beneficial for Holt of Ca. With governmental budgeting, some of our reps can create a lot of these quotes in a given year. Whoever the entity is, will likely come back to order/buy some or all of the quoted equipment in the following year +.
The ability to convert a budgetary quote to an opportunity quote would decrease the amount of quotes our Sales Reps have to create and manage for these government entities, and could also give dealers useful data for tracking the timeline of governmental quotes. (I.e. The date when a budgetary quote was created, the date when it was converted to opportunity and the date when it was closed as Won)
