Estimated revenue values on opportunity records can become inaccurate due to changes later in a deal's lifecycle. This compromises won opportunity reporting accuracy, especially where a dealership / division is only using SalesLink and COTI because there currently exists no logic to update the estimated revenue on the opportunity from COTI deal changes.
It is possible for COTI to update the estimated revenue in its linked opportunity when the restated sell price is updated.
When an opportunity has multiple deals linked, the estimated revenue sums the sell price of all the deals.
The functionality above will be controlled by a configuration key that the dealer has the power to enable.
