When a deal is canceled in COTI, the system automatically creates a Change Request, and assigns it to ALL roles in COTI. The ask is, when canceling a deal, to make it configurable if a CR is created or not, and as well who that CR is assigned to.

Sounds like it's an all or nothing which can be addressed by the config key that Mark pointed out.
This config key was released as part of the 2023.1019 release. See the release notes here: https://help.texadasoftware.com/en/knowledge/988/2023.1019-texada-cloudlink-release-notes#customer-order-to-invoice
Hi, we have the config key " create change request to cancel deals" set to no so as not to create additional change requests, refer to the screen shot attached.
For us every time a sale is cancelled the change request must be acknowledged as complete by every role in COTI including those roles related to other product types such as rental.
To instigate the cancellation of a sale we have the Sales Manager raise a change request asking to cancel the deal. At that point only those who need to deal with it and once the outcome is agreed we close the sale in COTI.
Our current action is find and delete all change requests raised in this way.
On this basis we don't need any change requests for the cancellation, post cancellation.
If we were to have something a targeted email notification of cancellation with set triggers would be more useful.
Is it fair to do this as an "all or nothing"? That is, you would want it set so that either all cancelled deals send change requests or no cancelled deals send change requests?
This is as opposed to deciding on a per-deal basis whether to send a change request.
Yes! Do This!
