I'd like to see an exception report that would indicate when a quote (deal) has been put into COTI on a stock number that already exists in COTI as an active/incomplete deal. As of right now, deals can come over on the exact stock numbers if they are on different quote numbers. At times, this results in the incorrect deal getting marked as invoiced from the nightly job.
The user & admin would get alerted when a duplicate deal was trying to get pushed forward. We do have instances where reps will requote the exact same machine, same deal, customer, ect and push it into COTI twice. With this functionality, it wouldn't allow them to do so.

Hi Court, if it's enabled i'm not sure its doing what it should or I need to understand how it should function. We see duplicate ID#s come through a lot in COTI (sometimes they are supposed to be) but other times not.

We see that the prevent duplicate stock number configuration is enabled in your environment. Is this still a problem area for Holt that you need addressed?
